Yeti Cubs

Yeti Cubs is a licensed childcare option for 2-5 year olds. It will be held within the boundaries of the Turoa Yeti Kids' Centre, allowing children to play in the snow within the fenced area outside the Centre and inside our warm building.

Yeti Skiwee

Licensed childcare for 3-5 year-olds with a beginner ski lesson and ski rental included. Yeti Skiwee gives young children the opportunity to experience skiing at a pace suited to their age group and without the pressure of remaining on snow for a full 2 hour group lesson.

Yeti Skiwee lessons will generally be 1 to 2 hours in total held in two sessions; one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Session length will be determined by staff according to children's energy levels and weather consideration. Yeti Skiwee lessons are beginner only. Private lessons for more advanced skiers can be arranged with pick-up and drop-off at the Turoa Yeti Kids' Centre

Lunch and lunch supervision

Lunch and lunch time supervision is available Friday-Sunday for $10 extra per day.

Lunch time supervision is not available Monday-Thursday. It is absolutely essential that parents are on time to pick up children for lunch as lateness may put us in violation of our license. A penalty fee of $20 per 10 minutes will be applied if children are not picked up on time.

Snacks and drinks are provided throughout the day for all programmes.

What to bring

• Waterproof jacket and trousers (available for hire from the Turoa rental department)

• Gloves

• Sunglasses/goggles, hat and sunscreen

• A change of clothing is recommended for all children

• Special needs items. eg: Special food, any required medication, comforter and nappies.

Bookings

We are able to take taking bookings until 12 October.

Please Note: To make the Skiwee booking process more efficient when booking please ensure you tell customer services your child's height, weight and shoe size.  This will allow the kids' centre staff to organise ski and boot rental for you child in advance.
